Description

I'm not a SJS fan and while I like to watch Vegas play...I don't consider myself to be a fan of the LVK either. I do think a trade can be made here though because the directions of each franchise are the exact opposite. SJS is just about to start tearing things down. Sorry guys. Those contract are too big to avoid. $26.5M for 3 guys all on the decline is ROUGH. BUT the silver lining is that I do think Vegas will send a HAUL for Hertl. You can even flip Smith for more picks.

Brendon Brisson is the Center for UofM...he's winger linemmate is a SJS prospect...Thomas Bordeleau. They're played well together and having chemistry is never a bad thing. From the Vegas Point of view...you have Dean and Krebs. Brisson while a good player is expendable if you can get Hertl.

Jack Dugan shows a lot of promise - I'd consider him the extra piece that makes this trade happen. Vegas already has a ton of wingers. Jack is expendable.

Smith is to make the contract work and the 1st is a given because it's a TDL deal.

Its the other way around with Brisson and Bordeleau btw, Bordeleau is the center, still makes total sense to get him from SJ.

I'm not saying you're wrong. He takes the dot and he's good at it too. He's a skills guy at the perimeter and Brisson plays more the middle of the ice and he's infront of the net.

the only issue i see is i don't think vegas can resign hertle so its a one shot. But could get the cup and maybe he stays for 6.5 @ 7.
