ya habs dont take that. Probably fair value for allen but we will have 15 picks by the time the draft rolls around as usual lol, so no need to move an important piece

Easy decline from nyi. 39yo mike smith on a multi year deal doesnt help us at all. It will cost a 2nd to move the koskinen contract which leaves a 3rd and a 7th for varlamov. Its going to cost a 1st+ to get varly so no thanks.

Habs say no. Keeping Allen to make the playoffs.

Next year, maybe, to free up cap if necessary.

And the NYI trade would be suicidal for their defense performances.
