Imagine trading the heart and soul of your team for a guy coming off multiple shoulder surgeries.

It is what it is. Gallagher will have to go in order to extend Caufield. I'm not giving up Anderson. And I don't want to pay either Gally or Andy to play 3RW at their price tag for the next 6 yrs. I'll put Andy 3RW till Tarasenko's contract expires. Or dangle him in the offseason if he puts up good numbers with Suzuki.

I heard that by next off season they'll have 14 mill in cap to resign 10 players. Sharks are f***d weather they resign him or not. He's not resigning with SJ.

lol yeah ill take your word over the GM and Elliotte Friedman. lol. Most the players they need to sign arent even NHL regulars yet. most will be six figure deals and some will be let go. Wilson said they want to build around Hertl. Regardless this pile of nobodies from MTL will not get Hertl and I don't see a '22 1st in there...

Build what bro?? You wanna make a cup run when Hertl is 34?? Hertl not sticking around for that, they either gotta trade him and cut their losses cause he pretty much immovable so that automatically eliminates half the league (none playoff teams). Then you eliminate the teams that He's willing to go to but can't afford him. So then you left with 5-6 teams tops!! And youll end up trading him for less than what you value him at cause you don't wanna lose him for nothing when he walks. Take the package bro, it's pretty decent...

Blues happily accept, Arizona passes... I think. Honestly have no clue what San Jose would say.

He can skate, he can hit, he can fight and he can score. If he stays healthy and is given a decent center and average of 16 minutes of ice time he can average 50 points/season without even getting 1st PP duties. 5.5 mill well worth it IMO. Most of his production came while playing with Suzuki. Once they gave him KK, his production completely disappeared.
