They are not in the North anymore. They will be fighting with Boston for 4th place and a WC spot, 5th best in the division is not cutting it. Playoffs is a reach.

That trade would change that, but i don’t see it happening.

They probably aren't a playoff team, they are the 5th best team in the division and would be 6th in the metro

Getting to the playoffs is a combination of consistency from your best players and staying healthy. Neither you nor me has a crystal ball, but assuming the scenario where this team does get in, how you far do you think it could go?

Gotta agree sadly

We got to make a move still i think
But im not sure its at Center
I think its on our RD as after Petry our depth is Savard and Brook past this year

Right now i think its Jason Demers is our logical choice
Cheap 3rd RD option who is responsible with the puck while being a solid shot blocker and hitter

You cant trade that first now because of the Dvorak Trade. How far would this get you? into the lottery.
