Bellows may be worth more than Urho at this point so Islanders likely reject that
Bruins very easily reject the Seattle trade, they coulda just traded a 2nd for Dunn before the expansion draft if they wanted him, this is a rediculous overpay and I would edit the ACGM to fix that
Mike Rielly has proven to be worth way more than a 7th, upwards of a 3rd or 2nd rounder
Not a bad Hertle trade, though I would say make the 1st if he signs an extension, so maybe that trade but a 2nd and a 3rd, and the 2nd becomes a 1st if he resigns, but not bad

So yeah just fix the two middle trades, and the top one probably gets rejected,
but really not bad overall aside from that second trade

Not enough to land Hertl and you can no longer make trades with conditions on re-signing.

It is more than enough to get Hertl, he is a rental at the moment because he doesnt have a new contract. Studnicka and a 1st is more than enough, throwing in the 3rd and Steen is FAR FAR more than enough

As for the debrusk trade, thats again very obvious. Talking about a guy projected to be traded for a 2nd this offseason and you have Debrusk and a 1st, thats an awful overpayment.

That said, Sharks dont need a LW so they may reject on pieces, but value wise, this is sufficient and then some

This trade isn’t DeBrusk for Hertl; it’s a maybe nhler, an ahler and a first in two years.

Sorry had the wrong ACGM, regardless this Hertl trade is MORE than enough because he is a rental, bruins reject,
and the debrusk trade is also swiftly rejected by the bruins

@bias_it_self ^ ^ ^

They are still both just factually bad trades lol
Its like if i said hey bruins trade debrusk to the Kraken for a 1st, a 2nd, and Dunn, that would obviously be a bad bad trade lol

I get that everyone has a right to their own opinion on what they feel is fair and I will have a bias towards the sharks since I am a fan of the team, as would anyone else with their own team. I don’t get the delusion of thinking you can get a top centerman for overvalued scraps. One Boston site says the trade would involve 1st and Studnicka and the next site says will Studnicka ever put it together. Doesn’t seem like what San Jose is looking for to me.

1st off and most importantly, I am not a bruins fan
Secondly thats the point: "overvalued scraps" is what is wrong with this argument. Studnicka is far from overvalued scraps, a 1st is a 1st, Steen is emerging as a decent prospect, and well the 3rd is scraps I guess but not overvalued considering its a pick. So there is the problem, people just dont understand value lol

This is unforuntaley not a matter ofa opinoin, it is just a matter of peoples lack of research and knowledge, a problem that I like to avoid by doing my research

Bruins reject these two trades, and thats simply a fact, If we wanna talk opinion though I can throw out a couple trades that we can debate lol

In the end, the sharks simply won’t trade to Boston if this is what they’re offering. Rangers, Wild, Ottowa, and Montreal all come to mind when talking about Hertl destination. Every one of those teams will offer more assets that are far more attractive.

Not all firsts are equal in value, I think that’s pretty obvious. A top 10 pick isn’t on the same level as 25th or later. The sharks are looking for sure NHLers and neither of these two guys are that. Maybe Studnicka is or maybe not. I don’t see how the bruins would think they could offer even less than this and have San Jose not laugh back at them

If that happens, enjoy!
Bruins want no part in that overpaying, thats why they have been so good in general this whole decade, and their 3 year rebuild was still a fun time to watch

Well duh, a 1st rounder is still valuable and if you dont think so, no reason to continue trying to comment on this website

You clearly just dont know who studnicka is, so thats your problem and i cant help other than just telling you this is a bad trade for a rental lol, its that simple

Guys nothing wrong with not knowing players, just dont try to make passionate arguements about something you do not know about...

I wouldn't do that deal if I was San Jose.

-Studnicka has 2C upside, but is far from a sure 2C.
-Steen is a good little player, but he's a bottom 6 guy
-The 1st is more than likely a late round pick

^Just an underwhelming offer for a guy who (even though he's a pending UFA) is arguably one of the top 30 centers in the NHL.

Lmao this is just embarrasing, I havent said anything wrong or delusional yet lmaooo, all i have done is state a few facts and a few opinions, and have backed each up with more facts... Its just sad that this website is as jaded as instagram comment sections, but I take pride in knowing that I am not part of that moronic crowd.

Being an independent and logical thinker does not make one "delusional", thats just sheeps' way so trying to shut people up that disagree with them

You have problems. The logical move is to accept that and address them. Look in the mirror.
