Mark down a Blues fan that understands these returns are unrealistic. Getting either tkachuk is gonna mean moving something that hurts, and that's if they would ever even become available.

Hardly cap complaint with a 20 man roster. Matthew gets a raise next year, as will Parayko if he resigns with the Blues.
Not saying Ottawa or Calgary would accept anyway.

It's hard to believe Tarasenko will be 30 in December. prime years are gone, injuries have slowed his production, maybe you can fool some people here into thinking it's a good deal, but the GM's aren't doing these trades. Keep dreaming.

I would almost understand if someone finds this OTT proposal as "offensive" lol

Barbashev isn't a need for Ottawa and not valuable enough in a trade for Tkachuk

The ony real asset here would be the 1st but not even 2022 and most likely not even top-15

Anyway, just going to copy/paste something I wrote in another Brady thread :

"Also, I wanted the Sens to go after Tarasenko before until I saw that he was making 9.5 M$ this season. Considering he has played 27% of team games over the last 2 seasons, no chance Tarasenko to Ottawa would be approved by Eugene Melnyk. I guess maybe if Tierney is going the other way (which the Blues won't want)"


Maybe Tarasenko could have value for some teams but not on a Melnyk owned franchise
