Yzerman resigns Stecher before taking on Meyers and his $6M cap hit for 2 more seasons, He will be 32 before the TDL.

No way Yzerman takes on that cap and giving up a tradable deadline contract for that small of a return.

That's a massive overpayment for Stecher.
