I like the line up. I'd really like to see Svechnikov find his game in Winnipeg. If Dubois can get on track, this team will be a tough opponent.

Same here! I hope we give him a real shot to succeed. I still have faith in Dubois, I think he'll be much better this year. Needless to say, I am very excited for the season to start!!

I wouldn't mind a Jankowski signing, bigger body and not old, can play center or wing, kills penalties, could be a useful bottom six guy.
I know he's on a PTO with NJ and the Jets are likely done with their offseason moves, he seems like he could be of use and a guy Maurice would like.

And thank you for putting Ehlers on the top line. 55 and 26 need to be split up.

I'm still waiting for a last minute signing of a 35 year old or two (ie. Zajac, Staal) to keep Harkins and Vesalainen out of the line-up.

Haha.. how sadly true that is though Staal and Zajac would be way better then past depth veteran signings the Jets have made.

Do think we'll regularly see Vesalainen at least this year, not sure about Harkins even though Maurice speaks well of him, not sure who has more of the inside track for the 4th line winger role between Harkins, Toninato and Svechnikov, wonder where Gustafsson fits as well.

I actually like the idea of a Harkins-Gustafsson-Vesalainen/Svech 4th line but Riley Nash was signed to play so he will likely be C/RW there. Not sure if Nash could fit with Copp and Lowry.

I do too, pretty sure I've commented the same thing actually. Harkins/Gus/Vesa would be a bit like the 2015 line, three young guys with some offense to their games, those three all seem fairly defensively responsible too, could be a fun line!

Nash isn't terrible but wish he wasn't signed, I'd rather see Svechnikov or Toninato play over Nash.

Haha I couldn't agree more! There is no doubt that Ehlers deserves to be on that top line over Wheeler.

Good signings, I’m so excited to see this team on the ice! Very few weaknesses now, I’m not in love with the bottom 6 but we’ll see, and you could argue they still don’t have a dominant #1 D like a Hedman/Carlson/Pietro that most cup champs have. But maybe with the support behind him Morrissey can be that guy!

Thanks man, you and me both!! Can't wait for the season to get underway. I am hoping Morrissey bounces back as well...with a better supporting cast I think he will.
