this way van get a cheaper option some picks as well Redwings will get a 1 center for the long term and we sign him to like a 6 year 7 million ish then they get money to sign QUINN HUGHES who know let me know

Yzerman has stated he wants to build thru the draft and is in for the long run. Trading two 1st is no what his agenda is about. Is Petersson, better than Larkin, yes, but if you look at how he built Tampa, it was thru the draft and and only when his club was at a championship point did he trade picks, Wings not even close to that point yet.

Van is also in win now mode since they're gonna go cap bankrupt pretty soon so if they do a big cap move it wont be during the same offseason they pay for OEL and Garland.

The canucks would never accept this deal. Petey is not destined to wear a detroit uniform. Take this fantasy elsewhere - maybe an injured Eichel would look good in Red and white

I feel like it would be better just to offer sheet him than rather do this trade even though I'm not for that either.
