2 1sts, a 2nd, and Brown who refuses to play; so despite being a former 1st rounder, isn't worth nearly that on the market. This isn't Eichel return.
Alex Formenton is easily worth a 1st round pick in Ottawa's eyes.
They probably wouldn't even trade him for a "first round pick"
I see three first round picks and a reclamation project here.

1. You're not giving the Sharks their exact ask and Brannstrom isn't a "top prospect".
Really depends. Based on polls I have conducted among Sens fans, Brannstrom is still top-5 if you consider Norris and Stutzle graduated.
Or if you look at this list from April for example, you see that Button still had him 19th :

Plenty of people around or IN THE NHL are still high on Erik Brannstrom.

Brannstrom is not a Drysdale or a Seider, which is what I think when I hear "top prospect." Brannstrom is closer to a Guhle or a Harley which I would think is a tier below. Maybe I'm wrong in my definition.
I think your definition is too stiff or "shifted"?. Drysdale and Seider are ELITE prospects, they are 2 of the best 3 prospects in the whole NHL. They are blue chip prospects who will be significant players, we just don't know how good yet. Guhle and Harley are definitely top prospects. Guhle is #2 Montreal's prospect according to their fanbase, after Caufield (if not graduated). Harley is definitively the Stars top prospect
