How about 2022 first round pick, John Beecher and DeBrusk? Gotta have 50% RS too.

This is an awful offer. It starts with Lysell. Period

They just drafted him though. Hertl will fetch a first round pick, young player plus a B+ prospect.

Isn’t Hertl a pending UFA? Not sure you get nearly close to what you’re asking for with a rental deal. If hertl came with like a 5-6 year extension between 6-6.75 million then you’re talking with that deal.

Haha keep him then. Boston will take a run at him when he hits the FA market.

He won't hit the UFA market if SJ isn't going to re-sign him there will be much better trades then what Boston could ever offer lol Enjoy your 5mil 3c and never getting a proper replacement for Krejci.

Lol, he’s playing for his hometown team that he dreamed about playing for as kid. He’s living a dream. Every kids dream. They’ll have to drag him out kicking and screaming. He could care less about who drafted him.

Lysell + a 2022 1st + a 2nd rounder does it for me without an extension.

WTF does better trade offers have to do with him hitting the FA market? Are you trading him with an extension in place? Oh and spare me the enjoy your $5 million 3C crap when you have locker room cancers Evander Kane for $7 million. Let's not forget MEV for $7 million, the often injury Erik Karlsson for $11.5 million and Couture has seen his production start to decline over the last few years and he's another $8 million. Enjoy shelling out all that cap space to not be a contender.

I don't think Boston WANTS Hertl (yet). I KNOW Hertl wants out of SJ. I'm SURE the Sharts will get better offers. I HOPE Hertl finds a team that makes him happy. He seems like a nice guy.

Maybe for you. However the reported asking price is less than that, a 1st and either a center or D prospect. Insiders have said 1st/Studnicka or Beecher is the likely package.

Lysell is not going anywhere.

Hertl never said he wanted out of SJ. All he said was he's not sure if the sharks want him back or if he wants to come back. People on this site translate interviews horribly and it snowballs into false statements like this. Be better. No organization treats their players with more class than SJ.

I'm sorry if I upset you. I see you only pointed out the negative aspects of my post. The path to better starts now.

There's an article I read recently where it says that teams who pay a premium to get a guy like that at the deadline typically know pretty well in advance that they'd be able to sign their guy to an extension (Parise, Kane, Karlsson come to mind right off the bat, all of whom signed [or in Parise's case, will sign] that extension).

So looking at it like that, I think it's a fair deal. Other teams will look at it like that too, which will force all the other teams to look at it like that too if they truly want their guy.

Thats what I have been saying. Hertl is not going too resign in SJ and then we'll have too listen too all the SJ warriors cry on here.

The only guy you mentioned that has ever been moved at the deadline was Kane (if you mean E. Kane)
Karlsson I can also understand what you're saying, if you knew how too word things.
But Parise? What does he have too do with anything?
