This is a major underpayment. If I were Yamamoto I would be demanding a payment out of Holland for the sacrifice I made this year.

I think whoever of JP or Yamo appears the least important at RW is the best ticket to getting a good goalie with picks going along with them this summer. Hyman or Foegele can go RW if needed, and Holloway/Benson/Lavoie are not far from sliding into the middle 6. I'm not too concerned with them both being on cheap show me seasons, and having more deadline space for this season.

Kevin Labanc signed for less on a one-year deal. I don't see why everyone thinks this is so great for EDM. If he breaks out, he'll cost 4x as much next summer!

he had all the cap space in the world going into the offseason, how in the world did he botch it so bad that it might come down to them having to pick JP or Yamo of the guy to keep long term

This is just ridiculous. I mean at least it’s only one year for Kailer’s sake, but Holland definitely took advantage of him wanting to join his teammates in training camp.
