Staple thinks so, but I’ve seen thats its up in the air right now, he might retire. Honestly One of the worst islanders of the last decade, just seemed like a whiny little b*tch and I hated his game.

What made you think that lol? I saw the decisions made regarding him as more of Trotz trying to cater to his play because "muh veteran," not because he was whining. Maybe I'm off though?

Whenever he got scratched he looked very annoyed. At this stage of his career all he is is a 13/14 forward.

When he first joined the isles he said in an interview that he didn’t fit in with the Devils because he wasn’t 25 years old. He just sounded salty, not like a leader. Then when Wahlstrom started over him in the playoffs I thought he gave off bad vibes in his interview. Regarding his game I thought he was lazy and relied on Pageau to do all the work. When Pageau hurt his hand, Zajac was exposed even more. Yes Trotz played a role and that was bizarre.
