Honestly, with the way Habs have been playing under MSL, without price, Weber, edmundson, Savard, armia, Dvorak, and Allen is unbelievable. I don't think Habs need a Arizona type rebuild, nor a sabres rebuild. I think what this team needs is to trade a couple of the old guys, trade the rentals, acquire a couple pieces, sign 1 big free agent, habs can contend. Therfore, this is my plan for next year:

What I want: Bergeron
From. These most likely to happen: mccan trade. Gally for mccan with Habs adding?
Let's say that happens. I wouldn't be upset with any of these options tbh.

We shall look how to move the other forward first before looking anything outside our core or our depth chart. Poehling is not to the point where i would keep him nor Ylonen ... so mostly 7 to 9 guys out ...this is huge. We won't be back on track even with the draft or the coaching system we need to go deeper in the retool/rebuild to have something for a decade, not two ffffffff season à la Bergevin.

I think the Jets might be my least favourite team right now, and they were one of my favourites back in 2018 (when they had Laine and before I realized a bunch of their players are terrible people).

we need to clean the mass before doing anything ... this could take a whole season to do so ... going nuts for UFA market or retool cuz we have few gems won't help to build a future. You can argue as you wish but this league is no where near what we think

That's not the real what if. It is:
What if MSL was head coach the whole year.
Answer: Habs would be contending for wild card spot

everyone would be consistently bad
then ducharme would be fired earlier
MSL would be hired earlier
habs would've prolly lost a chance at a lottery pick

I’m 2015-16 Mike Condon played 55 games for the habs, so at least it isn’t as bad as that.
