Knew it. Bergy loves his low numbers.

That's why he traded Sergachev?

That’s at least why Sergachev wore #22 when he was here. Sticking Out Tongue

really? well I mean considering they claimed Patrick Brown who isn't exactly great, Pezzetta isn't too much of a stretch

regular season, i also definitely put that in the wrong forum section, meant it for the NHL discussion thread, not the Habs thread

So Laval has sent Kevin Bureau-Poulin to the ECHL. McNiven keeps his job.

Also they’ve traded Jacob Lucchini to Belleville for future considerations. Nice to give him the opportunity since he wasn’t going to make the Rocket.

The Lions also acquired Philippe Desrosiers from the Manitoba Moose (AHL)

I hate how non-developemental TRL is. It's full of 25+ YO's with 0 chance of ever playing NHL games. Sad

I’ve been over this before, but there are very few young players who would sign an ECHL contract over getting an education paid for. Nearly every ECHL success story was on an NHL/AHL contract, or didn’t break out of the league until their mid to late twenties.

So Poehling to Laval, and here are the lines for tonight’s game:

Toffoli - Suzuki - Caufield
Drouin - Dvorak - Anderson
Armia - Evans - Gallagher
Perreault - Paquette - Lehkonen
Kulak - Petry
Chiarot - Savard
Romanov - Wideman
Allen
Montembeault

Too bad Brooks won’t play against his former team. I like putting Kulak & Petry together in Edmundson’s absence, but I don’t like putting Romanov on the 3rd pair. I could be wrong, like I was with Chiarot - Weber, but I’m not at all looking forward to Chiarot - Savard.

I would except a lot of movement at D during the game because Ducharme said the third defence pairing of Romanov and Wideman might be will mixed and matched tonight, much like the third pairing was in the playoffs.

Well what an absolutely crappy way to end a game. Completely BS call.

I watched the first 10 minutes of the game live, and I should’ve just stopped there. Great start, but they just looked flat the rest of the game. No one was bad and no one was good. It was just meh.

On a positive note, the old Jonathan Drouin is back. Even just the way he carries himself is different from last year, standing up straighter and isn’t hunched over a lot.

Price makes everything look easy, Allen makes everything look hard. Allen was good tonight, but he sure had a lot of obvious close calls.

Unfortunate way to lose the game, but we were outplayed all night and had no right for it to be a one goal game. I don't know what coach thinks it's a good idea to pass the puck to the blueline and then have our 2 defenders pass it back and forth until we lose the puck, but they deserve to be fired.

Chiarot-Savard was awful as we expected & our 4th line lacked speed & skill. PP was embarasing and has only gotten worse since last year. PK looked good. Allen looked iffy at times, but overall was good. Romanov should be sent to Laval, terrible. Suzuki & Caufield were good. Dvorak was very good. Gallagher had chances but couldn't finish on any of them.

I forgot about Josh Anderson, he was ****ing great. Only played who would say earned their wage last night. played 100% all night and had many great chances all created by him. Drouin scored a tap in because of Anderson's great play.

This is Dominique Ducharme’s first game as the head coach where we can see his chin. It looks a bit weird seeing his full face after getting used to seeing him in a mask.
