He’s out for an absolute minimum of 30 days. Which means he’ll likely be longer.

ohh gotcha

It's official.

I'm on team #TankForWright

I’ll be on team I won’t be super disappointed if we miss the playoffs this year, especially since we have cost certainty for Suzuki next year and we could be without Price for a large portion of the season. Plus our division/conference is hell.

Not to mention that next year we’ll finally be rid of Ben Chiarot. Sticking Out Tongue

Have you seen the defensemen that Bergevin has signed? We will just replace him with another old, slow defensemen. We can't win with these dinosaurs on the back end.

It's better if you face the truth. Our coach is terrible and our players aren't good enough to compensate for it. Embrace the Tank

This team disappoints me in so many ways. I made a post about it about an hour ago on the season thread.

Welp, maybe when Hoffman comes back we’ll be able to score more than 1 goal?

Nawh, he'll stay a healthy scratch and Ducharme will keep the D-Core the exact same

So we’re 3 games in, and Drouin has as many goals as he scored in 44 games last year, which is double the amount of goals that the rest of the team has combined.

Since he’s left handed, he might be a better PP QB than Wideman when Hoffman gets back, since it’ll be easier for Niku and Drouin to pass it to Hoffman for the one-timer.

I don’t like you trading my boy Lehky, but it mostly looks good.

Lines in practice today:
Evans is questionable for tomorrow’s game.

Toffoli - Suzuki - Caufield
Drouin - Dvorak - Anderson
Hoffman - Brooks - Gallagher
Lehkonen - Perreault/Paquette - Armia

PP units:
Gallagher
Caufield - Anderson - Suzuki
Wideman

Toffoli
Drouin - Dvorak - Hoffman
Petry

I mostly like the PP units, although Toffoli as a net front is super weird. IMO it would make more sense to switch him and Anderson.

I would've liked to see Hoffman with Suzuki and Caufield but it makes sense having him where he is considering he hasn't played in camp that much

also no defense?

Romanov - Petry
Chiarot - Savard
Kulak - Niku

can they please move chiarot to the bottom pair

Where would they put Suzuki if they had Hoffman on the same PP? Hoffman is a one-timer guy, and Suzuki plays on the right side as well. They’re never going to be on the same PP unit.

I didn’t include the D pairs because I didn’t see them. Also something’s off, since Wideman can’t be playing on the PP if he isn’t in the lineup, so he’s likely playing ahead of Niku. I 100% agree about Chiarot.

I meant that I'd like to see Hoffman with suzuki & caufield on offense, not the PP

I have zero doubts right now that Wideman's gonna be playing over Niku even though I would like to see niku playing
