Fire all the coaching staff, MB and the scouting team
Hire a president of hockey, new GM, new coaching staff, new scouting team
All of that can only happen in the offseason. For right now, something smaller needs to happen. I think the MB situation is most important to resolve. The rest will trickle down.

Yeah, one way or another the habs need to figure out who the GM is going to be before the draft.
During the season probably doesn’t matter, since if the season continues as it’s going the only in-season moves would be selling off rentals, which anyone can do. However the draft and off-season is crucial, so Moulson needs to figure something out before then.
So at what point does something need to change here? Im thinking Molson needs to let MB go or resign him real soon because this roster construction is just so flawed and it needs a retool fast.
Like as much as I don't like Ducharme, I don't feel like he should be the only one paying for this.
Bergevin's press conference 2 days ago he mentioned he wanted to return to Montreal... that makes me think Molson might not want to bring him back. That's a good sign at the very least

I personally would want MB to come back, he’s done a pretty good job but since he’s not signed going into the year, he’s probably gone. This roster really misses Edmundson and Price, playmakers and offensive minded D’s

I can't see why Molson would decide to offer Bergy a low money offer, either Bergy's asking for way too much or Molson is just penny-pinching, Bergy's had his ups and downs but he's been good overall

Whatever pro scout that thought signing Chiarot + Edmundson + Savard was a good idea, should be fired.

I've liked Edmundson so far, he's solid defensively. I'm not sure 3.5M was quite what I'd pay for him but I'd still take it. I was told that Savard was completely useless in Tampa, so him doing something in Montreal was surprising. 3.5M is too much for him though. And I just cannot stand Chiarot, he's completely useless, he can't perform how he's expected offensively and can't defend for his life. I don't care how much he makes I would not want him on my team.

Maybe 1 of those guys on your team are worth it, but you cannot have 3 guys like that on your backend. We've now scratched Widemen which goes to show how bad Ducharme is.
