Problems with Habs system. 1. They dump the puck every single f ing time. 2. They looked for the perfect shot. 3. They pass too much. 4. They play is so predictable, a 7 year old watching 3 games could predict what the habs do next. 5. Their drop pass and dump the puck on the powerplay is well known as the worst powerplay formation in the league. 6. They don't give the young players ice time. 7. Ducharme is the coach. I gotta say petry looks a bit like his normal self the past couple of games. Montembeault is having a really strong game. Take point shots, shoot on the rush, set up the triangle on the powerplay. I honestly think ducharme just says "unless you have a breakaway or a 2 on 1 dump the puck. Whenever on the powerplay do the drop pass . Pass and look for the other teammate to pass to. Fire him already! FFS Habs! This is enough!
PS: according to my sources ducharme writes down names on pieces of paper and takes them out to see whom should be on who's line,

Much better period. I could see petry was gearing up for a goal. That romy hit was the highlight of the period. But every big hit jas to have a fight coming out of it. Refs made right call for the 2 10 and 5

What a BS call by the officials. Kurashev got that goal Hoffman really didn't have to push him like that. Monty would've saved that. That was f ing crazy, he did not have full possession that is clearly offside. Whatever, the reason I am not on the group of tank tank, is because when Habs get bodies back, on paper they are not a bad team, they could go on a bit of a streak. Also it's not a fun atmosphere for the players. Habs played well after the 1st. I am upset over that terrible call. Monty played extremely well once again. Petry looked like his normal self, Poehling had a really strong game, romy has the biggest heart on the Habs. Pitlick actually played well. Armia had a better defensive game.
3☆ for toni

1☆ Montembeault
2☆Poehling
3☆Petry

Chicago I liked reichel,Lafferty ,and gustafsson.

Back on Monday 400 game for habs-coyotes.
That will be fun. Who is the worse team?

Anyway I'm just gonna fall asleep and not think of that call. Luckily it wasn't last year or 2018-19
Goodnight to all

What kind of rule is that offside possession rule. Ypu are offside if offside, simple as that. Not a stupid possession rule. BS league

The possession rule has been in forever, it’s not often used but it’s been a rule for a long time

It was a goal because Hoffman pushed him. If he didn’t the puck probably wouldn’t have went in, and it would’ve been no goal. But you can’t punish the Hawks because Hoffman took out his own goalie.

And the puck was on his stick and it stayed that way for a good while after, that’s clearly possession to me.

Also I understand not wanting to see them lose, but if the habs want to make the playoffs they’d have to win over 80% of their remaining NHL games. (So basically at a pace greater than the NHL record for points in a season.) And while the habs should be a playoff team, this team isn’t exactly a super team lying in wait.

Winning games this year won’t benefit the habs anyway other than mentally. Winning a bunch of games and finishing just outside the playoffs would be terrible for the organization.

It didn't look like possession, though, he just got the puck and it was behind him.

But on the turris goal his feet were below the blue line when he got the puck hence a quick review but by kurashev, he got the puck when his feel were over the blue line.

3 more candidates left for Habs GM job. Darche and Brière are 2 of them. 2 other interviewees are expected to get other jobs with the habs. My expectation is Marc denis for AGM and Danisl Doré for head scout. Wonder who is the 3rd candidate

First GM news. 3-4 candidates are in the mix, we already know that darche, brière, and Kent Hughes are all in the conversation. Mathieu darche has a meeting for the aneheim ducks GM job next week, have a feeling he would rather go to anaheim than montreal, maybe that would open the door to martin Madden Jr. To be interviewed by the habs. The habs GM job should be announced sometime next week

I think vejdemo has been playing a bit better. But, the question is, WHY TF IS CAUFIELD ON THE 4TH LINE BEHIND ARMIA AND PITLICK?
