Yes to Sharks. No to Zona. Kessel blocks any trade to Boston anyway.

I’m sure they would say no, but i was saying from Boston’s end of it. 👍🏻 SJ response to it was irrelevant.

Sharks ask is a first, an A prospect and probably a little bit more (maybe a lower rated prospect or another pick). I just don’t see the sharks being interested in DeBrusk unless Kane gets moved out and Beecher, though drafted in the first, isn’t considered to be a high end prospect.

That is quite a lot to ask for.

Beecher isn’t really a good prospect and Debrusk is super redundant on a team packed full of already underperforming wingers. The only thing that truthfully interests us is the first which alone isn’t enough to land 82+ games of Hertl half retained.

Not really, it’s on point for some of the deals done recently. 1st, 2nd and a NHL d man is the return Ristolainen got who is almost the same age and cap hit as Hertl on the last year of their deals. Hertl is a much better player too so I don’t see it being quite a lot.

No I don’t, I feel my opinion on his worth is reasonable based on other trades that have occurred and it is what the sharks are asking. I don’t see how they get less for him. Boston fans seem to think he’s worth hot garbage.

A first, a good roster player and a decent prospect is more than fair for a upcoming ufa.

Boston will not give up what SJ desires. Their 1st isn't going to be a good one and they won't give up Lysell. Nothing else on that team is of interest to SJ so we can forget Hertl ever going there until Sweeney parts with Lysell. If you want a great player, you need to give up a great prospect. Welcome to the bigs.

Hertl is a good player, not a great one. Lysell is a good prospect, not a great one. It's a fair ask along with a 1st just not a realistic one for Boston who have little cap space and a thin prospect pool. Better get full value for Hertl from someone because you are not getting much value for any of Couture, Kane, Burns, Karlsson and Vlasic with their age, issues and contracts. Welcome to the bigs.

Hertl is a top 25 center. There are a thousand stats to back that up if you know how to read them. I know its big boy reading and that can be hard but I have faith you can do it.

That does not make him great. That makes him good. Great is Matthews, McDavid, MacKinnon, Crosby, Draisaitl, Barkov and Point. He is a cut below those players just as players such as Bergeron and Barzal among others are. I said it was a fair ask of Lysell and a first and it was Boston's shortcomings that would sabotage the trade but you ignore that and get condescendingly personal. You don't like my take on the guts of your roster? Debate it one way or the other, don't ignore it and get personal.
