Zero chance Winnipeg throws away Stanley on a replacement level player.

I wouldn’t mind Fischer but not at the cost of Stanley who is <1M. I would rather see a Schmidt trade and free up 5M, next offseason of course after a bounce back year

I agree, Fischer would be fine, but I wouldn't want the Jets giving up Stanley for him.

I’ve followed Stanley since his draft-2 year, he will bring much more than Schmidt for a lot less. Guy will be a beast

I really liked the way he looked last year, so I'm thinking you may be right. For Schmidt, I'm willing to give the guy a chance. At least the Jets improved the D.

I just don’t want him blocking Heinola who will become disgruntled and ask for a trade and decrease any value he has if PoMo forces him to eat popcorn. We don’t need anymore Snapchat memes coming out

Wow, I just noticed how long Winnipeg’s D are under contract. Poor Ville Heinola.

Heinola is only 20. The Jets have plenty of time to work him in.

So we keep Stanley another year and keep Heinola in the AHL
