Is Greiss really an improvement over DeSmith though? Sure Greiss plays on a far worse team, but he has significantly worse numbers isolated from his team's performance.

i didn't look at his isolated stats but his gaa and sv% last season were good considering the team in front of him. fully depends on where the pens are at by the TDL

We can't really afford to trade any of our goalies this year as none of the prospects are ready, i think all our UFA signings this summer are staying at least the full season.

I don't think it matters because I think 3rd will get you Greiss at the TDL.
