Brady doesn't have that kind of value. Hes still a player who has never topped 45 points, young but hasn't trended upwards at all. Buffalo would be crazy to gamble on him like this.

brannstrom has some valu also (not as much as he used to of course). What peice should Ottawa add? Conditional first instead of a 2nd? top 5 protected moved to the following year if it ends up being top 5?

Ottawa should steer clear of Eichel but we'll accept the trade with Toronto.

We'll sign Brady sometime during the season and the Toronto trade helps us get to the floor.

Also, we get a 2nd round pick for Tierney at 50% retention, which is something we're looking for.

The Sens should help Tbay from the endless Cap hell and trade for Stamkos, Melkyn will love the 2 remaining years on his contract, $6.5 in real cash but a $8.5 cap hit.

Tampas cap situation is sorted for this year and next year. Only 2 years from now could i see it becoming a problem again.

Funny enough I made a proposal last year for stamkos to the sens for the reasons you stated. But tampa ended up doing the 200iq move of "Kucherov is magically hurt all year and makes it back perfectly for game 1 of the playoffs" haha

Tbay's 2 Cup wins come with a asterisk.

One for the obviously LTIR cap cheating and another because of both seasons were covid shorten seasons.

"LTIR cap cheating" in the reality is not the same as it is on the internet. I know how popular misinformation and conspiracy theories are these days and people are more gullible than ever, but you can't just place players on LTIR without a real medical situation identified by real doctors under the hippocratic oath.

Kucherov had a hip surgery... Do you know what is a hip surgery?

Sure, corruption is possible but you can't just assume that everything/everyone involved is corrupted. Chicago and Arizona have been caught recently for not respecting rules in different situations. The NHL doesn't look like a beer league (even if not perfect), it's actually a 5 billion$ business. Clearly there is investigations.

Kuch had surgery just at the start of training camp rather than the off season like most players do. Tbay knew what they were doing was a "cheat" by delaying the surgery for help their cap situation.

You have no idea of all the implications and particularly not in a global pandemic context. The surgery was exactly 3 months after the last SCF game. Have you seen Dr. Kelly's schedule for the 2020 fall?

Also, are you a doctor? Have you seen the files, the MRIs? How do you know if the doctors didn't want to avoid the surgery at first? Did you read Kucherov's contract? Did you talk to his agent? Have you contacted the company insuring his contract? Like I said, there is plenty of implications. I am just throwing out randomly some possible ones

Doing a quick search :

The Lightning didn't know if Kucherov would make it back for the start of the playoffs. They knew it was a five-month recovery from the hip labrum tear surgery based on history; former Tampa Bay forwards Ryan Callahan and Ben Thomas each had the same surgery. So did active centers Brayden Point and Yanni Gourde.

Five months would have taken Kucherov to the end of May, the start of the second round.

"We kind of had some familiarity with the rehab process, how grueling it can be, the timelines, and also the uncertainty," Lightning general manager Julien BriseBois said.

Kucherov was skating by mid-March and participating in practice drills and morning skates by mid-April. He was cleared to take contact in early May. He recovered quicker than Point, Gourde, Callahan and Thomas.
