… Myers is staying and the Canucks aren’t trading two firsts to lose him. Canucks also don’t need Kessel. Look at their top 9, where does Kessel fit in the wing?

This deal is a moot point anyway though regardless of value. Myers won't waive for Arizona

By the way I have a question, is the "Do I look nervous" under your username a reference to Jordan "Losington"?

Florida is a no-state-income-tax jurisdiction and Arizona isn't, so this would require Bobrowsky to waive his NMC in order to go from a Stanley Cup contender to a bottom-3 team AND take a significant pay cut.

The Arizona state income tax rate for all incomes over $250,000 per year, which obviously applies to all NHL players, is 8%. Arizona also has a high sales tax rate, almost as much as California's (which is the highest in the US).

Thus Bobrowsky would pay $960,000 in state income tax this year and next.
