Vegas is now $1.2 million above the cap with a 21 man roster. How long is Tuch injured? Feels like another move might be coming regardless

This should be an interesting scenario, would love to see him bounce back and really show his potential with Vegas.

Great contract value wise, but Vegas has no cap space.

He had shoulder surgery in late July and was expected to be out 6 months.

That takes us to late January, so he's eligible for LTIR.

Vegas is safely under the cap, unless Tuch comes back ahead of schedule.

This is alright. Hope his migraine issues are in the past and he can get some sort of career going.

Good for both team and player. If he bounces back, Vegas gets a 2C for dirt cheap. If he gets injured again (god forbid, this kid deserves all the best), he has a massive chunk of change coming in for two years.

Not sure why they offered more than $1M based on how rough the road has been for Nolan thus far. I've never been a fan of his style of play, but I really hope he reaches his potential at some point.

What a great contract for Vegas. Even if Patrick is league minimum this season, at $750K, the second year would be max $1.65MM. Both those could be huge under payments for what he’s capable of.

Good deal, Patrick’s upside is still very high even though it may seem unobtainable

Last year was a terrible year for Patrick, but last year was a terrible year for a lot of teams / players, so I think we can give him a mulligan there. If so, then Vegas got a real steal with this contract.

I said the exact same thing years ago.

Infact, I first mentioned it on my blog in 1997.

Meh. Glass played 10 games plus between Patches and Stone and it never clicked. Both needed fresh starts, no team was robbed here

They should have signed him like 1M x 3 years.
