this would have been bad for us, and if we did this there is strong possibility Shattenkirk BO would be on us not NYR, plus had we had these two Karlsson would not have been acquired so you would put Norris and Tierney on our team and Pavelski and remove Bonio and Karlsson.
that's a lineup that's old as **** but would have been better.

Oh wow I didn't realize this was almost a thing but I'm glad we didn't do this lol. Although I like TJ and he probably would have been solid for us, that would've been a steep price to pay.

Don't know why you say the lineup would look like that. Both Shattenkirk and Oshie were UFAs in that period. Good chance none of those players would be Sharks.

    Yeah, that’s probably right.
But I did both sides of the deal.
It was more to show how stacked Blues could have looked today.

Everyone’s talking about the roster but the real question is how did you get the Sharks logo for Oshie and shattenkirk

Even then, this wouldn’t be the trade.
When San Jose was looking to move on from Hertl, they were going to give up the 9th pick IF Timo Meier was unavailable, upper management was VERY high on his skill mixed with his physical edge. The trade more than likely would have been Ivan Provorov and Tomas Hertl going to St. Louis. Side note, the Sharks would have had a much better chance at a cup win if the trade went down. Short term amazing, and long term, it could have been interesting.

Whether it was Provorov or Meier, looking at what Blues roster would have been today is pretty wild.
