Suzuki is on the PP1 instead of Hoffman, you dont need 2 sniper on the same unit.

I had Toffoli there originally but he's a good shooter too. I wouldn't put Suzuki there because Montreal's PP2 would suffer a bit, lacking a solid center and all. Either way I think Montreal's PP units will be a force this season with Caufield maturing, Hoffman joining, and Drouin returning to form.

Hoffman is one of the best powerplay guys in the league, he will definitely be on PP1

Not at the expense of either Zuke or CC… They are our best player there

Hoffman is a lock on the pp. his shot is miles ahead of Caufields. I’d have both he and caufield together, like a weaker Tampa, stamkos on one and kucherov on the other side . PP success comes from the other team not knowing where the puck is going... and executing

No they aren't. Caufield has barely played in the NHL and Suzuki isn't a better PP player than Hoffman who has 67 goals and 139 points on the powerplay in his career. He's had 3 seasons with more than 10 PP goals and 4 if you pro-rate this last season. In the past 5 seasons Hoffman is ranked 6th among NHL players in PP goals with 56. Only Ovi, Pasta, Drai, Stamkos, and Laine have more. There is no argument
