most likely scenario part 2

Created by: Rob32sjsharks
Team: 2022-23 San Jose Sharks
Initial Creation Date: Sep. 20, 2021
Published: Sep. 21, 2021
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Most Likely scenario,
team plays like a 10-12 seed in the western conference and doesn't make the playoffs but drafts too high to get an elite prospect, just a good player who will take 2-3 years to make the team.
Wilson see's that we have little choice but to rebuild and trades pieces at the deadline or after the season and begins a rebuild the team needs.

Habs don't need another winger, though.

if Drouin tanks again I see them dumping him or including him in this deal, and again this is why I said team TBD! I have no real solid lead or team to place him as of right now.

Why would a team want to bring Kane in the locker room? I get he puts up points, but if his teammates hate him, you are inviting division into the room. This seems more like wishful thinking to dump his salary and attitude.

I don't disagree with you and I would think the same thing. But then again The DeAngelo situation happened and Carolina still signed him. So I feel like anything's possible at this point lol.

I think I literally said that in description. this again is contingent on him not having any more off ice issues and with good leadership he can be contained for 2-3 years and traded in the final year of the deal.

Hertl is boutta be 28 once that new deal kicks in. He is too old compared to the young guys on our team especially when Mika is already 28 and boutta be 29 in April. No need for two aging centers signed late in their 30s.
