Description
If you do not agree with my predictions offer an alternative prediction for the team. I'm just kinda guessing around here... I want to know what y'all think... Ya know start a dialogue N Shizzzzzlez...~

I think an Engvall and Mikhayev trade is still inevitable...
Leafs targeted Mangiapain and liked him a for a long while now they tried to get the guy in the Vetoed Kadri trade that never was N

I believe they'll try to get a replacement for Reilly by making a bit more of a complex trade where it's a bit of give N take N a lil bit of sacrifice...

You don't want futures and sacrifice the team's chances now

N at the exact same time you also don't want to try N go for an overreach so Reilly+++ for a significant upgrade.

Reilly will be the main piece in an any trade even prior to Mangiapane and Hanifin.

Because of the Toronto Angle to the story and the fact that he cant be let go and also the Leafs can not afford the dude...

I mean if Robert Bertuzzo and Derik Ryan are your worst players on the roster F N D you're team aight imo...~

Ur just dogging on the trade just to dog on it.

You want to think that any all Leaf trades signings moves drafting sucks so that all you care about... Just making fun of the Toronto Maple Leafs just simply for the sheer and petty sake of making fun of them and their fans.

No he's not, the trade is atrocious for the Flames. Hanifin is younger, cheaper, and was better than Rielly for most of last season. Mangiapane is 10x the player Kerfoot is. Dermott is maybe worth the 2nd and SDA for Kylington is pretty whatever

It's an embarrassingly bad trade.

Look at my posting history, I criticized a trade like 20 minutes ago as being horrible for Toronto

I skimmed it and didn't see hanifin. Seemed like Rielly and low value stuff for mangiapane, a second and low value stuff. With hanifin signed and Rielly not this IS a terrible trade for the flames...

Have not seen the trade, I’m sure that it was bad. Hanafin is younger and cheaper than Rielly… that is all. And I am a big fan of hanafin.

Alternate prediction? None of this. Camp is about to start and dubas is done. Most likely one small move to get cap compliant and on with the season.

trades still up there to look at

Once Sutter came in and gave Noah the special teams minutes he deserved there was a clear improvement in his production. Rielly had more actual production but Hanifins underlying numbers were definitely better

Not ever has Hanifin been better than Reilly , but I agree the trade makes no sense for either team. Can’t understand why leaf fans feel that Reilly has to be traded; if he walks at end of season, he walks but keeping him gives us best chance to win now. No way you’ll ever get back equal “present” value by trading Reilly now, so stop.

It’s actually not horrible value wise (favours Toronto) . It’s off the meter stupid though. For the same reason I’ve gone after every Rielly trade on here. If Toronto trades Rielly they need a top 4 lhd in return. No team is trading a top 4lhd if they are hunting for one. If the leafs trade Rielly then they will be hunting for one. Seems like the leafs should trade Rielly for Rielly.

My face is sore from facepalms. Responses like “leafs will get a big enough return to get a Dman just as good or better and extra futures” some how Rielly is worth twice as much as Rielly. So maybe we can’t afford the trade I proposed…

Oh don't get me wrong, ive also said multiple times that Toronto should not move Rielly, Sandin is not ready even if some Leafs fans want to believe he is

Sandin has this whole season for growth. To show dubas they don’t have to re sign Rielly. The timing would work well and Rielly moves on at the perfect time.

I personally would hate to see him go. On and off the ice he is a leader who gives his all every second. When I mention moving Muzzin instead leafs fans lose their minds. Yes he is good but he is also old and often injured. His style of game just doesn’t age well. Losing him would be a blow too but I think it would be the smarter move “IF” Rielly is willing to accept a hometown discount.
