As a Devils fan I really hope Elias gets in this year. Very underrated player. Mogilny would also be solid.

Tons of other guys who have a really good/great case if they win the cup

Also some guys who have won but won't make it even if they have a really good case

Sure - I think Karlsson probably gets in without a cup.

But could say this about lots of young guys too. Even guys like MacKinnon and McDavid, who would go from “very likely” to “definitely” with a cup.
