Ya, like they literally can't start the season like they are, they are UNDER the cap. Yes I said under the cap. Just give Brady what he wants.

-Blues have officially signed James Neal to a 1 year, 750K contract.
-Jake Guentzel is in COVID protocol but asymptomatic, Sam Bennett is also in COVID protocol (but has not necessarily tested positive)
-Islanders are reportedly shopping their "extra guys", unclear who of Gustaffsson/Bellows/Komarov/Johnston are exactly the ones being shopped
-Alex Ovechkin was supposed to be re-evaluated today after leaving Friday's game after a hit from Konecny, no update yet

Oshie will probably get the c because the other two are out with injury. Wilson will get the c in the future because he is only 27 and somehow the thrid youngest person on this team with a full time roster

A video on on Buffalos behind the scenes during draft day was trending

So I went and saw it

Apparently Buffalo tried to trade Rinehart and the 14th OA pick for Eklund right after he was drafted

Anyways found the reason it was trending as Eklund scored his first preseason goal with SJ

So basically Rosen + Rienhart for Eklund.

BUF was supposedly really, really high on Eklund heading into the draft. Should've found a way to get him. Imo, he would've been a better pick at #1.

Kaapo kakko is like a more skilled version of Nischuskin. I don’t think he’ll ever put up big numbers but he’ll be a solid top 6 guy IMO

I’m sorry, but Nichushkin isn’t a top 6 guy, he’s more of a top 9 guy.

I’m aware , Nischuskin is an elite 3rd line rw. I’m just saying Kakko reminds me of him a bit, obviously he’s more skilled. Both gritty two way players who protect the puck well.

Not sure for Kakko since he’s still young, but for sure on Nichushkin. I’m not kidding he was worse than Comeau when he was in Dallas.

😂 I hope so but I don’t see it with Kakko. I think Miller and Kravtsov have a much higher chance of becoming busts

As long as my man Alexis isn't one I don't really mind, though I prefer Miller's potential to the two others you mentioned.

Miller has solid physicals tools, great skater for his size - but with his lack of puck skills and hockey sense I just think his ceiling is an average 2nd pairing D.

I could see him becoming a lower-end McDonagh. Similar to what Edmundson was this season.
