I think what they’re trying to do is get as close to the cap as possible to maximize Bishop’s LTIR usage or something like that, but I did the calculations and if you send down Oettigner, Dellandrea and Back (all waiver exempt), and call up Kiviranta, Peterson and Gardner you’re actually closer to the cap so it doesn’t make sense.


Let's be positive. Maybe Dellandrea and Bäck will surprise us all. I'm still semi high on Ty.

I’m scared Bones will brainwash Ty to become the next Comeau, and I have no idea who Back is or what he did that was more deserving than Peterson.

Edit: just looked up Back’s EliteProspects profile and it says two-way forward, makes sense.

I've never really gave it much thought but imo it's quite funny that our team represent once city in the state, but their AHL affiliate represent the whole state.

Just think how weird it would be if Anaheim's AHL affiliate was something like California Gulls.

Lmao did we just get a new younger Cogs & Comeau in Dells'n Back.

At least Back is 6'3'' so he should have the size to compete.

In other news, Jeremy Bracco is finally turning into something people were expecting after his illustrious junior career in Marlies as a first line prolific winger.

The only downside here is that he's doing it in Germany.
