1st of all:
I think Arizona did a great job collecting picks and some young guys, especially the Timmons trade. This year without a captain I think Arizona names Kessel, Schmaltz and Chychrun as their assistants. Another key note for this year is to absolutely not Trade Chychrun. He is the heart beat of the team on a cheap contract,.
Ideally Arizona trades Kessel with half retained for either a good prospect or some good picks to a playoff team or fringe playoff team such as Minnesota who can supply us with a decent pick or a decent prospect.
Plan for Resignings:
Hayton: 3x 1,750,000 (Good 3c if the team grows. If he plays well we can pay him over 2.5m)
Crouse: 2x 1.750,000 (good 3rd or 4th line winger for us or we can trade him if necessary)
Fisher: 2x 1,400,000 (will advance this year and will be a decent 3rd liner or 4th liner.)
Larsson: 2x 1,350,000 (will advance and become a 20-20 point scorer in future)
2021 REMAINING FREE AGENT SIGNINGS:
Galchenyuk: 1 x 1,560,000
My Prediction for this season and some notable player point projections:
My Prediction is that they finish 4 points shy of last in the league and put up a lot of their good players for grabs. Right now they don't have amazing prospects but they do have good picks. Record Prediction: (23W, 51L, 8 OTL)
