what the hell is this? pens decline so fast. Forsberg is only better than Rust by a little bit. And hes expiring so if we wnted him we could just sign him in FA

Holy overpay batman. I would rather have rust on this team than forsberg anyways. Rust is better and his stats prove it. then you even include two unprotected firsts and a decent prospect??

Not sure what the original proposal was (going by the previous comments, it's been changed), but this isn't close to a good offer for NSH. Even without retention, a 1st, a bottom six forward, and an overpaid #12 defenseman isn't going to get you Forsberg,

I have to strongly disagree with that. Forsberg is twice the player that Rob Brown 2.0 is.

LOL, Forsberg >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Rust
And the Preds decline this fast!! Those picks are low, Hallander isn't even a good prospect, we don't need Riikola or Heinen

Forsberg is better, but not by much. The original trade was 2 firsts, Rust, Hallander, Heinen. Pens decline that in the speed of sound. Rust is cheaper and puts up the same numbers as forsberg. Since when is Forsberg (Who lets not forget is a pending UFA) worth a top 6 forward, 2 1sts, a solid prospect, and a good bottom 6 guy? He isn't worth that at all

Rust plays with Sid, switch him and Forsberg and Forsberg is probably a 60-70 point player at least. Forsberg >>>>> Rust. Rust has all this offensive talent around him while Forsberg is the only big offensive talent on NSH (for forwards). And Rust is also a pending UFA sooooo

Exactly, so in what world does it make sense to trade Rust for Forsberg when Rust (even if hes playing with Crosby or not) is still producing the same? Pens decline, end of discussion. You dont gotta skeap for pens fans every time

So my point is, Were not trading 2 1sts, Halander, and Heinen just to Swap Rust and Forsberg

OK, that original proposal is a lot. I understand PIT not considering that. I believe it was a 1st, Riikola, & Hallander when I originally commented on this, which is even more imbalanced than the first version. I think the current offer (1st, 2nd, Riikola, Heinen, Hallander) gets rejected by both teams. Too much for PIT to pay, when they're not a strong contender right now, and too few pieces of any interest to NSH (just the picks really).

I gotta ask - skeap? Is that a typo, because the urban dictionary definition really doesn't makes sense in that context tears of joy
