Las Vegas has $79.5 million tied up in 13 forwards (including Patrick but excluding Tuch, who's injured) and the 7 defensemen and 2 goalies that they're going to play with. You're adding Eichel's $10 million (when he's able to play) and subtracting only Patrick's $1.25 million (which will be replaced by a prospect who's cheaper).

I don't think that there's a way you can rationally move Eichel to the Golden Knights, and they won't be sending you four cheap contracts in the process.

Beyond all that, that’s WAYYYYY too much. I wouldn’t trade that package for anyone sans McDavid or AM, and even then, I’d have to think hard

I get into trouble when I discuss what I see as over-inflated proposals for Eichel, so I try to restrict myself to discussing technical issues. I have to do the same when I see under-value offers for John Gibson.

I think you overvalue the package the1st is likely to be a 28-32 pick, neither Morozov nor Korczak made it in the 100 top nhl prospects - Vegas had two in the top 100 Krebs at 17 and Brisson at 57, Patrick is hit or miss - Tuch is a good player when healthy - so when you break it down you have Krebs and Tuch as probable top six forwards but probably not stars and 4 pieces from which you hope something shakes out.

I think you are undervaluing the package. One B+/A- prospect in Krebs. Two B center prospects in Patrick and Morzov (who’s already committed to leaving russia) Korczak is a top 4 defensemen ready to happen then you add in Tuch too? Eichel could NEVER be the same.
