Not sure why it’s such a tough concept for so many to grasp. Buffalo has to get a a young A to A+ prospect FW with 1st line potential in return. It’s mandatory. The rest of the pieces are negotiable. Boston’s only piece that closely fits that description is Lysell. Not sure if he’s a big enough fish but any Boston trade for Eichel starts with him or ends without him.

Boston is not moving Lysell for an injured Eichel.

Boston does not have the ability to clear 10m in cap space in a way that works without moving Coyle who has no desire to go and Moore who has no value.

Coyle is not DK so it’s definitely a downgrade. They upgraded the bottom 6 significantly so that might make up for some of it.

Where it will really hurt is on the PP.

Im not to sure Hall and Smith will be as good not playing with Krejci at 5on5 either to be honest.

I don’t hate anyone. Last player i hated was Claude Lemieux. Was disappointed with lackluster effort of a couple of Bruins. Losing Carlo was the difference maker. Can’t seem to keep d men healthy for playoffs. Been like that for years.
