They have much better depth this year. Boston's core is getting older and bound to start slowing down. Tampa lost their best depth pieces which was the key to their success. & Florida is still unproven, although they'll be a good test. It's definitely possible with Toronto's high flying offence to outscore their opponents enough in the regular season to take the division. Their defence is still the same as last season which I believe was around the 7th beat in the league, and their goaltending is a proven tandem option. Seems like it's their division to lose right now

If it helps, the tier they placed them in is "Barely miss playoffs", and since each tier is in alphabetical order I'm assuming they're above the Kings. They just don't say it outright so I have no idea what they truly think.

I wouldnt say they have better depth. Last seasons playoffs was the deepest leafs team in years. I'd say they downgraded a bit. Defense maybe the same, but how much of their overall stats have been inflated from playing in the North division?
Campbell may stay consistent to how he played last season. But as a Red wings fan whos watched Mrazek play for us, Mrazek hasnt been fully healthy for a long time and he is very inconsistent.

I think the Atlantic is gonna be a dog fight.

Leafs do look far more balanced. That should translate into a few more wins.

TB lost their 3rd line, but the goaltending and defense is perhaps best in the NHL.

Boston is very deep. They lack a 2C, which may haunt them.

Florida remains a wildcard, but in paper, they will compete..... big questions around Bob and Knight and who takes that job (I think it's Knight btw)

Don't see a clear cut winner here.
