What would make you think that about Holl?

So far in all the line rushes ( I know it's early) he has been playing with Dahlstrom and Liljegren with Muzzin. They might just be trying Liljegren in Holl's spot to see if he's a fit, but Liljegren is younger, cheaper, and has a far superior upside. I think it's up to Liljegren whether or not Holl plays opening night.

They are giving liljegren a chance to showcase. If he pushes Holl down it will be Sandin Holl and Dermott looking in. Brodie Rielly will certainly not be broken up.

Also I was certain Muzzin and Holl were in different groups. Am I mistaken?

That's a good point, they are in different groups. I feel like they need to give Holl some time away from Muzzin to make sure he's actually a player and not just a product of Muzzin. Also, I feel like Sandin Brodie is a legitimate option as a pair. They tried it a couple of times last year and now have been trying it again in camp.

Rielly Muzzin Brodie Holl are our bonified top 4 guys that can handle the minutes. Maybe in 22 Sandin and Brodie can pair.
