I'd probably add lindholm and Gaudreau to that list. Build around Dube, mangiapane and tkachuk up front

TBH I didn't add Gaudreau because we make a huge push at TDL and keep Gaudreau. I guess Lindholm could be added

I think you get a very nice package from Rangers for Lindholm and NJ for Tkachuk .

If the Flames struggle this year, Gaudreau is leaving as UFA. Tkachuk won't sign long-term and would need to be traded. There is also a new GM most likely.

It would certainly be the start of a 3-5yr rebuild. I would go full-on tear it down in that case. Anyone with value would be available. If the Flames can win the a lotto, things can even turn more quickly than it would seem.

Absolutely. Get as many assets as you can.

If it happened next offseason a rebuild could line up with the opening of the new arena. The Flames could have a really exciting team by the time that arena opens

I kinda like keeping Lindholm. He’ll be 27 on a good deal and can help grow the team. If they get a great offer, then move him for sure, but I’d like having him Dube and Mangiapane to build with. Lot of potential there
