SDA is a great prospect... He will be great for Detroit... Rousell can't be THAT expensive to get cmon now let's be serious here... ~ ^^~

Imma just pretend like I didn't just ask Detroit for the extra pick in 22... I guess a 6th in 2023 can't be that much of a deal breaker... Like what are the serious chances of the LEAFS of ALL teams drafting the next Zetterberg or Datsyuk?

No, I think you understand quite well. All this still to be a non compliant cap team. So the Leafs trade away all those assets including 17 point Mikheyev just to acquire 17 point Namesnikov

oh...the classic "I'll trade my quantity of 3 bad players for 1 quality ok player".

That's fair.

Only time in history I remember that working was when Lou traded 5 minor leaguers (Verhaeghe was only 1 who made a career) to NYI for Grabner.

I agree and I don't think you have to worry because there is no way Yzerman brings Roussel to Detroit.
