There’s just no way we can or should sign Neal or Frolik

not sure what you mean by no way we should. teams offer PTOs to players so if they do good in camp and preseason they get a contract and so far frolik has 1 goal in 1 game and neal has 3 goals in 1 game so they so far are making a case to be signed i dont really understand your comment

Because Neal's fluke goal + empty netter against Wild's AHL team is apparently enough to send Kostin to the AHL and maybe send MacEachern or Clifford to waivers, so Neal can be useless on the 4th line and maybe play PP2?

would/should he be willing to? He's definitely still an NHL level player imo. Though he has flaws, I wouldn't mind having him under specific circumstances, but we're expecting Sunny back soon and I would rather give the vacant roster spot to Kostin right now.

Neal should be a 3rd line, 2PP kinda guy right now, and we just don't have the roster spot for him. Am I wrong?

I hope Neal is only here to showcase his game to get signed by another team. Frolik is ok, can play on the 4th and he's not greedy. But Neal is a solid no for me
