Not sure I'd put Vrána on the 3rd line with 1st line minutes he did put up 8 goals in 11 games and only 3 were games didn't matter for either team.

If we can somehow get barkov to sign then I wouldnt mind spending a bit more on ufas but not all that probably.

Barkov absolutely, if it makes it to UFA, is probably right on the money (11*7). He'd set the depth on this team perfectly down the middle.

I'd skip Forsberg (who can't play a full season ever due to injuries) and Gaudreau. Vrana's scoring rates are better than both of those guys, comes in cheaper, and still leaves room for prospects to blossom.

I'm torn on the Rielly and Ekholm signings, DET may need an LHD or 2 to compete, but I worry about age regression on both of them, especially at that price. Maybe if it was just one or the other that would be acceptable.

Also don't want to burn all the cap space in 1 year, you've got other guys to sign as well. Don't want to start letting quality guys go because you've capped out all in 1 year.
