He's clearly the unvaccinated player. We really don't need the distraction and the BS surrounding it. Just trading him for a first and whatever is the best thought. Cut the cancer out.

Under normal circumstances value seems okay, but can you imagine a GM trading a first for an unvaccinated player this year? Imagine making a move like that and then the guy can’t play 4/7 games in a series because its against a canadian team.

I'm not thrilled with Blackwood, but I'm not selling him off either. He could hate the conditions of the unvaxxed player after a month and get the shot. Don't the Devils play most of the Canadian teams in the late part of the year?

First, as far I have seen, there is nothing more than speculation that Blackwood is the unvaccinated player.
Second, if it is Blackwood and he misses 8 games, its not the end of the world. There was zero chance he would play 74+ games anyway.
Third, there is no distraction. Media wants clicks and eyeballs...but everything on the ice will be the same.
