You're probably right, but I just got back from Traverse City and Raymond was better. One of the most impressive players at camp. Unreal shot, needs to work on decision making speed, but very crafty and an amazing passer. Bobby looks like he lost a step.

I think it really comes down to "learning to be a pro". Personally, I think it's a bad idea to have 18-20 year olds in the NHL, as I don't think they're mature enough, mentally, to handle that life, responsibility or pressure yet.

EDIT - Before anyone even points it out, Seider will be 21 before the season is over, has already been playing in pro leagues for a couple years and has a head on him unlike most 20 year olds. In other words, he is the exception to the rule.

Lucas Raymond has been playing professionaly against men for two full seasons.

He's very close, but he hasn't been playing professionally in North America. It's a different game. I would just MUCH prefer he dominate the AHL before we rush him up to the Wings.
