If Hamonic opts out we get about 19 million in space.

Petey is reporting to want 8.5x5

Quinn is gonna get at least 8 but if we want him for longer than 5 years it might be 8.5 also. So that's 17.

So Miller would take every cent we have and also handcuff call ups.

As much as I hate Myers I'd rather go with ...

Rathbone Poolman
Hunt

And at least see if Luke Schenn can play middle minutes without playing PP.

This is obviously not ideal but neither was Hamonic. We're just trash on the right side either way.

Buff is not taking that package for Miller either way but that's a different issue.

ngl i expected this response and i would have given the same answer to somebody else if they created a proposal with the hamonic situation going on. just a thought tbh. we all know bennings tendencies when it comes to being aggressive and needing to want everything right away. thats why he signed hamonic right as soon as free agency opened. I just dont think its right to keep fiding different defensive partners for your franchise defensemen. Demko will have to carry this defence so hard tho. Overall I 100% agree with your reasoning. Myers pisses me off game after game and you hate to see third pairing dmen get paid like that. Im now 100% convinced this team does not know what their priorities are

Don't just get one hair replacement bottle, get 2 hair replacement bottles all for the low, low price of 9,999,999 and if that's not enough we'll even throw in Anton Stralman. That's right, 2 hair replacement bottles and an Anton Stralman. You can't get a better deal than that.

Canucks should have used Winnipeg’s 3rd rounder and got Zadorov for the same cap hit as Hamonic but younger and a player that speaks Russian to help Podz with coming to North America.
Now Canucks are going to have to scour the waiver wire or sign UFA’s like Sami Vatanen or Jason Demers
