If Lindholm was a RD this would make more sense but he's not so the Canucks decline. Also, why wouldn't the Canucks just trade for Chychrun considering he's waaaaaaay better and younger than Lindholm

Anaheim and Arizona aren't in the same division anymore and Chychrun would definitely cost more

Since the Kings have made it known that they're looking for a young All-Star LD like Chychrun and we can assume that they'd offer Alex Turcotte, their 2022 first and another roster player like Jaret Anderson-Dolan or A prospect like Rasmus Kupari, I think we're out of the Chychrun sweepstakes.
