Wow he was good tonight. Excellent mobility, puck control and foot work. Creative and tactful. Consistently good off puck awareness. Very conscientious and engaged centering. Really heavy release on his accurate shot. What a gem. ☆

Agree. He has too much potential to deal rn. I would much rather wait and see what he does with more consistent ice time and a more offensive role. Even if that means his value goes down bc i really dont want to sell low on him. 1 year ago he was the projected 1st overall pick. Kid could be a stud.

I want Ekholm, but Raty has become untouchable. Isles have barely any prospects, especially at forward. If we move anything to get a rental, it'll be draft picks and cap dumps.

I doubt Isles move him (yet). Always good to have a young guy on a cheap ELC who can take up a significant roster spot, particularly for a cap-heavy team like NYI.

And I’d take that for CBJ. Bemstrom and/or Foudy are unfortunately looking to be roster crunch casualties in the near future. Danforth is a wild card, but I don’t really see him moving beyond a B6 role.

Also, Bemstrom is really a winger. I wouldn’t have him playing C, and I wouldn’t have him on the fourth line.
