Description

Hate PK but this trade takes Tarasenko's 2 year cap hit and flips it for PK's 1 year cap hit. Trade Sunny because I'm not sure how he'll be after ACL surgery for Zacha - a solid middle 6 option. Add Boqvist for sweetener to coincide with STL's draft picks included.

The Blues have re-arranged the roster by moving Sanford to support having Tarasenko's full cap hit this season once Sundqvist is healthy. Tarasenko is in camp and playing with the team, and every indication is he's okay waiting for now. At this point, it just makes sense for the Blues to keep him and let him up his value as much as possible unless there's a move now that obviously makes them better. This Devil's trade doesn't do that.

StL will probably hate it but we are not ready to contend and its just taking Tank off their hands. Would be great for our s to have a guy like that but not with the other pieces. Zacha looks to be having a strong camp so maybe hes closer to the pick we expected and PK will have value at the TDL, look what Savrd was able to net last year (not expecting that return just explaining vet D (RH to boot) at PO time are at a premium)
