I was thinking Evander Kane but with Kane's problems ......... didn't want to get in trouble

From latest rumors, the AAV and I also believe the term is agreed on, it's the "other stuff" we mostly don't care about haha. Structure, clauses, signing bonuses, etc. I'm really surprised to hear that that stuff is dragging this out this long, though

I'm going to be honest with you and I may take a bit of heat for this from other Sens fans.

But Brady is more like Tom Wilson than Mark Messier IMO.

As of right now.

How much he makes per year will depend on how long he wants to stay in Ottawa and how much signing bonus money he wants.

He's still young and he has long career ahead of him.

So, we'll see smile

Yes sir.

We offered him an exact copy of Chabot's contract.

And he turned it down frown

He’s way better than Wilson. Wilson has played with some PPG players. Tkachuk is the best player on his line and just turned 22. The Kane comparison makes sense but I think Tkachuk is way more consistent and is better at driving play

I am not saying he is the same caliber player as Wilson, reread what I originally said.

Yeah got it. I still think he needs to be locked down longterm because if he played with someone like Eichel he’d put up 70pts. But I think he wants a 3 x 7 so he can gain even more leverage

My opinion is they aren't close on term and salary that goes with a bridge deal. The "other stuff" doesn't mean that much if they can't even agree on the the important items of term and salary.

Classic power forward.

(and Messier wasn't as tough as his legend portrays him)
