Walker is likely not long for the Kings, but he's definitely staying put this season. None of their notable RD prospects (Clarke, Faber, Grans, Spence) are ready and Walker can play both sides. He stays this season, maybe moves next. However if the Kings are still needing a top-6 player at the deadline, I wouldn't be against a pick or prospect in lieu of Walker.

Probably not as high right now but I believe by the deadline, the team will be improved and will raise his trade value. Peterson will take a lot of games and I think Quick with a lessened work load, improved team, and his competitiveness that can't be overlooked will have other teams looking at him for the playoffs. Especially since he has essentially other than Tim Thomas, the most dominant single playoffs stats in the current era. Will LA trade him though is another story
