In case you didn't know, Canucks forwards Tyler Motte and Brandon Sutter have not been at the team's training camp. There hasn't been much talk about them but I am open to the possibility that both players could be out long term. If that is the case, the team might be willing to go so far as to look externally to bolster their forward depth in their bottom six, in addition to adding Colin Miller, presuming Travis Hamonic opts out of the season as is being speculated
Both Motte and Sutter are crucial fixtures in the teams bottom six, so I can definitely see the team being aggressive about making sure they effectively plug up their bottom six holes if both of those players aren't available for any extended period of time
